Speaker, Storytelling, and Presentation Coaching

Crafting your narrative or conveying your idea in a compelling and relatable manner can be quite a challenge for many of us. It often requires extensive preparation and years of honing our skills.

That's why these tailored sessions can be the answer for many. They're designed to refine your talk in just four weeks, start to finish, giving you the tools and confidence to deliver a presentation that aligns perfectly with your vision.

These sessions are conducted one-on-one, providing you with progressive guidance each week. From conceptualizing your idea to drafting and rehearsing your talk, we're here to support you every step of the way.

We understand that every speaker and event is unique, so we're happy to accommodate requests for a more extended development period. You'll have up to one year to complete your sessions, and you're responsible for scheduling them with your coach as you progress.

We excel in supporting novice speakers and those with a fear of public speaking. How to turn "stage fright" into the energy you need to move your story forward is something that can be taught. You can feel more comfortable on stage with some new skills.  We can work with you to empower you to become a comfortable speaker even in the face of your own anxieties.

Additional Services: Design of associated materials, curriculum, and slide deck for presentation. Submission of talks or presentations to conferences and events. Please contact us for pricing.

Getting Started with Speaker/Presentation Coaching

Developing a talk or presentation for an audience takes development and preparation. These one-on-one sessions with a professional speaker coach will set the course for the successful creation of a relevant talk that matters.

Sessions will include:

Crafting Your Idea

Develop a clear and concise idea - the central theme of your talk. You may have done a lot, you may have done very little. We will create and review and solidify what it is you want to say so you can say it with clarity and vision.

Outlining Your Talk

Create an outline for your talk, including an introduction, main points, and a conclusion. It is important to create a map so you can get to where you want to be.

Telling the Story

Keynotes and other talks and presentations often resonate with audiences because they tell a story. You will consider how you can frame your idea within a narrative that will engage your audience emotionally.

Producing the Final Talk

Simplifying, using visuals such as slides, videos, or images, and clarifying any confusion. This is when you know exactly what your talk is and how impactful it can be. Please note: If you are local to the Greater Seattle area, final rehearsal can be in person at no extra charge. Outside of the Seattle area, final rehearsals are by Zoom.

Committing your Talk to Paper

It's important if your talk or presentation will be offered to the public that you have it in written form to help with the accessibility and access.

Each speaker will receive their final talk in written form with final notes from their coach within one week of finishing their coaching sessions.
